AND SO IT BEGINS

Yep, I did it again. Ate too much yesterday. Have too many leftovers left over today.

Then again, I’ll get more exercise than usual. Because it’s that day.

The day we decorate the house for Christmas.

PRAYER: Thank you, Father, for the feast you allowed us yesterday. Please be with those people who don’t have enough food and provide for them. Please show all of us how to feast upon your love and guidance throughout our lives. Amen.

WHAT ABOUT YOU? Does the day after Thanksgiving begin the Christmas season in your house?

For us, the day after is usually spent one of two ways: driving all over or sleeping. After looking at this year's ads...sleeping won out. :-)

Today is tree day here, so excited!! I had a good thought for the leftover turkey, just set a portion at bedside if you have trouble sleeping at night it may help (hee hee)!!

Tree will find his resting place in the family room as soon as hubs feels like setting him up. We have to remove all the lights this year and start all over! Ugh! Tree may not make his appearance for weeks! ;D

@ Mike, Chris and Lynn - happy decorating to all and to all a "good night" - especially Chris with his bedside supply of tryptophan!

Lights are up on the outside of the house. Hearth is decorated, stockings hung, wreath is hung. I'm not putting up a tree this year, but house is still festive.

@ Pam - festive is GOOD! Today is day 2 of rearranging the storage unit to FIND the tree. I'm building muscles...and the "day to decorate the house" is becoming a full week.
